A mini post for the daughterly person to show her how the new french doors look.
In fact they are pretty much a direct replacement for the old ones, but better fitting and double-glazed.
The vegie box that was on the verandah had to be moved so I re-used it as a raised bed for my rhubarb. (That's celery on the left.)
Noreen relaxing with her new book. She knows the editor and one of the contributors. We went to the launch as part of Writers Week. N'Bunga (her mask from Vanuatu) has never been to the Antarctic.

Poor untravelled N'Bunga...
Also yay!! The doors look awesome! Just like the old ones, except shinier and less tatty at the endges. :) Very much looking forward to using them to enjoy sunshiney afternoons in Feb!!
And is that a wild rhubarb growing between the two planters?
Feel not sorry for N'Bunga. She has been to many places in her many lives. Now she gets endless entertainment from observing the goings-on in the gin and tonic corner.
It is not wild rhubarb. The plants were already there, I just put the frames around them but not all could fit in.
Aww excluded rhubarb!!!
