Moving Day
Sam and Bex took possession of their house today. The notice confirms it has been sold.
The house sits on the side of a typical Wellington hill and the lounge is cantilevered out over the access way.
Bex arrived and took her first step over the threshold as a home owner.
We made several trips with stuff from their respective flats. The wombat seems to like its new abode.
Above the house is a bit of garden and wonderful views over Lyall Bay
and the airport.
The road past the house turns into another typical Wellington feature – a zigzag path leading higher up the hill. At least we didn’t have to move in up that.
Afterwards the moving party relax with a well earned beer.
Lastly here is the view from the lounge window, looking across Lyall Bay to Moa Point and Pencarrow (that’s a kite surfer just off the surf club).
