Jenny's birthday and a walk on the cliffs

Apologies for the dearth of postings lately. I’m afraid they may be thin on the ground for the next couple of weeks as we are going to the Cook Islands for 10 days from next weekend. I promise there will be pictures when we return.

Last weekend was Jenny’s birthday. She won’t admit it, but she turned 24. Here she is with Chris at her birthday tea – Noreen cooked lasagna.

This weekend the group went on the Te Kopahou walk that we did last August. I wasn’t able to make it as I have done something to my ankle but Noreen got a few shots. These are emu that are farmed near the windmill.

There were good views down south to the Kaikouras

and east along Wellington’s south coast.

There are also yet more second world bunker relics.
