Sam’s Graduation

This last week we have been up in Auckland. The main event was the presentation of Sam’s degree after four years of study. The ceremony was held in the Civic Theatre which is an amazing art deco fantasy edifice. You can see a panoramic view from this page.

We met up after the ceremony and he proudly displayed his certificate

before we sat for the obligatory family photos.

Being a graduate doesn’t stop him from being silly.

It was a very warm day so Jenny was glad to cool off in the fountain.

In the evening we went out for a celebratory meal with some of his good friends and their parents.
